Glorify God
Make Disciples
Vision Church was born out of a burden to see a gospel-centered, disciple-making church in the heart of Raleigh. After years of campus ministry and serving in the local church, Pastor Jerome Gay, Jr. sensed God’s call to plant a new work that would reach the city with the hope of Jesus. In October 2010, a small group of believers began gathering with a simple desire: to glorify God and make disciples.
Vision Church exists to make disciple-making disciples through intentional discipleship, a diverse loving community, evangelism and church planting. We are committed to the centrality of the gospel in how we live, what we preach and what we believe.
Over the years, God has grown that original gathering into a diverse, multi-generational church family. We’ve seen B1M1 discipleship groups launched, youth and kids ministries established, and generosity initiatives like R.A.G.E. and Visualize used to bless our city and expand ministry. Today, as we gather at our Raleigh campus and send people out into their neighborhoods, workplaces, and campuses, our prayer is still the same—that many would meet Jesus and become disciple-making disciples.
